Job Summary:
A Speech Therapist position is available in Santa Maria, California, within a home healthcare setting. The role involves providing care to patients with various diagnoses, including orthopedic conditions, strokes, joints, and spinal injuries. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position offers flexible working hours primarily from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the possibility of working every third weekend and minor holidays as needed.

Job Details:

• Location: Santa Maria, California
• Schedule: Flexible; majority of work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Required Qualifications: BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech Therapist (SP), PT, or OT in a home setting; valid license to practice in the state of California; experience with Oasis (government-mandated form).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Oasis and home healthcare setting.
• Certifications: BLS Certification
• Additional Information: Candidates must have experience with Oasis (government-mandated form).
• Responsibilities include working with patients with diagnoses such as orthopedic conditions, strokes, joint issues, and spinal injuries in both outpatient and inpatient environments as assigned, within a designated geographical region.
• Shift: 8-hour days, flexible shift times.
• Duration: 13-week assignment with the possibility of cancellation up to 4 shifts during this period.
• Charting System: Cerner
• Trainee Orientation: 1.5 to 2 weeks of floor-specific orientation.
• Scrub Color/Uniform: Business attire with white lab coat, no jeans.
• Additional notes: Minor holidays are covered; major holidays only if needed.
