Sr. CNC Machinist and Programmer
In this position, the Sr. Machinist and Programmer will work on set up, operation, and programming of 3-5 axis mills, lathes with live tooling, and more. This person will also help coach and mentor a team of machinists and influence decisions as the company grows. This is a 1st shift position on a 4x10 schedule with occasional overtime available on Fridays. Benefits include:

- Review customer RFQ and provide accurate, timely quote responses
- Develop machining processes
- Program, set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for production and prototype work
- Edit programs at the machine
- Perform inspections to ensure conformance of specifications
- Interpret blueprints for specifications such as dimensions, tolerance & instructions
- Select and secure holding fixtures, tools, etc
- Perform daily maintenance of machines and/or troubleshooting
- Ensure safety and ISO9001/AS9100 standards
- High school diploma or technical certificate in machining/manufacturing
- 10+ years previous experience in operating CNC lathe and mill machines
- G & M Code experience
- CNC Programming experience (SurfCAM is a plus!)
- Knowledge of safety protocols and shop procedures
- Effective communication and teamwork skills

“In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this California position is between $40/hr and $50+/hr. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.”
