Sales Director, US/Bay Area

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead sales efforts in the US/Bay Area. This pivotal role will focus on expanding market share, nurturing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth. The Sales Director will play an essential part in the sales team, collaborating with various internal teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to market needs and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales goals, expanding market presence and adoption of innovative technology in the US/Bay Area.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and offering customized solutions.

Sales Strategy Execution: Implement sales strategies and initiatives that maximize contract revenue and enhance market penetration.

Lead Generation & Conversion: Identify new business opportunities, managing the sales process from lead generation through to closing deals.

Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and support customer satisfaction.

Product Knowledge: Stay well-versed in the product portfolio and technological innovations to effectively present the value to customers.

Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies as necessary to stay competitive.

Travel: Some domestic travel required for customer meetings, industry events, and training sessions.

Achievement: Expected to close at least one contract or deal within the first year of employment.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess a combination of skills, experience, and enthusiasm to meet the challenges of this position:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 7 years of sales experience within the semiconductor or technology industry, with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with AI technologies and semiconductor ecosystems is highly desirable.

Customer Management: Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and navigate the sales process efficiently.

Key Skills & Abilities:

Relationship Building: Proven ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
Sales Acumen: Strong analytical abilities to identify market trends, forecast sales, and create strategic plans.
IP Sales Process: Experience managing the sale of intellectual property (IP) licenses, contracts, and royalty arrangements.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to various audiences.
Project Management: Experience managing complex sales projects and working with multiple stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Proactive and solution-oriented approach to resolving issues.
Multitasking: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
