DevOps Engineer- CI Poly- up to $170K

Our client is a small specialized company. providing multi-faceted, high-impact technology solutions to the DOD and IC. They have been in this industry for over 20 years and are well established in this space. Their team has extensive technical knowledge and provides compelling insight and tangible solutions to some of the IC's most complex problems. Their prototype and systems solutions continuously support the warfighter and offer dynamic solutions for cyber and technical security issues our world faces today. They are seeking an DevOps Engineer to support the Navy project.

A successful candidate will have the following:
-Bachelor's. degree and 12+ years of experience. Additional experience may substitute in lieu of degree
-Experience in a customer facing role
-Linux Engineer or Admin experience
-Experience working in a DevSecOps environment (develop, build, test, production, deploy)
-Experience using Podman or Dockers for Containerization and Kubernetes of Orchestration
-Familiarity with Puppet, Ansible, Cobbler for server automation
-Familiarity with IT and network hardware (servers, workstations, routers, switches, etc.)
-Knowledge of software design, debugging, and development fundamentals
-Scripting experience: Bash, Python, SQL or similar
-Experience working in mixed-server environment: RHEL, Windows, Cisco hardware, software and virtual machines
-Experience with Virtualization to include deployment of containers

Desired Skills:
-Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) experience
-Experience designing, implementing and deploying applications in a cloud environment (AWS, MS Azure, Oracle, etc)
-Experience working in an Agile environment

This role requires a TS/SCI + CI Poly level government clearance to start. Preference given to candidates with a clearance held by NIWC PAC. This is a full time, W-2 position with benefits to include 100% paid medical for employee and their family, 401K, and 4 weeks PTO + federal holidays. This work is on-site in San Diego,, CA. No relocation assistance provided.
