Director of Legacy Giving

Sacramento Region Community Foundation
Sacramento, CA
ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

As the capital region’s leading provider of philanthropic services, the Sacramento Region Community Foundation helps individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofits give back with confidence and purpose. We manage more than 750 charitable funds and over $270 million in assets, with most funds endowed to support causes in perpetuity. Our mission is to lead, serve, and inspire enduring philanthropy for a just and vibrant Sacramento region .

Make a lasting impact — now and always.

Since 1983, we’ve awarded over $275 million in grants — the majority benefiting communities in Sacramento, Yolo, El Dorado, and Placer counties. Beyond fund management, we lead initiatives and partnerships that advance equity and opportunity, including the region’s annual Big Day of Giving.

Are you a seasoned planned giving professional with a passion for building legacies that shape communities for generations to come? Join our mission-driven team as the Director of Legacy Giving and help donors create lasting impact across the region.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Sacramento Region Community Foundation believes in the power of philanthropy to transform lives. The Director of Legacy Giving plays a vital leadership role in developing and expanding our planned giving program, guiding donors and professional advisors through a range of charitable gift strategies, including bequests, retirement assets, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, and other legacy giving vehicles. More than a job, this is an opportunity to help build a better future for our region. You’ll join a dynamic Philanthropy & Communications team, working alongside passionate professionals who care deeply about the community and the people we serve.
