A Los Angeles manufacturer is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for standard costing, physical inventory counts, excess and obsolete inventory, and variance analysis. What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related degree
• 4 years of accounting experience
• Must have inventory accounting experience
• Advanced Excel

What will you do in this Senior Accountant role?
• Review bank activity and conduct reconciliation against cash to settle discrepancies
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• File sales and use and property taxes
• Month-end close for inventory
• Perpetual inventory reconciliation and evaluate inventory balances
• Inventory account reconciliations
• Variance analysis and financial reporting
• Document processes, control activities, and key controls
• Define, create, and track inventory KPIs
• Review and analyze inventory adjustments
• Asses slow-moving and at-risk inventory items while creating plans to minimize
• Manage cycle count and inventory observation process
