OverviewAs an AHS Benefits Consultant, at Arthur J. Gallagher, you will manage and nurture client relationships and ensure the delivery of exceptional insurance and risk management services. You will act as the primary liaison between clients and our internal teams, ensuring that client needs are met with tailored solutions that align with their health insurance needs.
Pay: $25/hr - no bonus or commissions
Contract position - Starting ASAP and ending January 15th with the possibility for a perm position.
Hours: M-F 8am - 5pm PST
Location - Hybrid position 501 W. Main St. Visalia CA
How you'll make an impactKey Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term communication with clients.
- Assist a diverse portfolio of clients across IFP and Medicare.
- Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries and service requests.
- Meet with clients over the phone or in person to understand their healthcare needs and find the best solution.
- Conduct individual enrollments from referrals and assist clients as needed.
- Account Management:
- Oversee the management of client accounts, ensuring all services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, finance and operations to ensure campaign rollout and comprehensive service delivery.
- Prepare and present client quotes, plans and options to clients.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and new business within existing accounts.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and propose appropriate solutions.
- Address and resolve client issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Industry Management:
- Analyze client needs and develop customized solutions.
- Submit enrollments and communicate with carriers when necessary.
- Maintain state licensure, carrier certifications, AHIP, and CE’s.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to provide clients with informed advice.
Required:
- Minimum high school diploma or 1-2 years related experience.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must have an Active Accident/Health Insurance License in your state of residency.
- Ability to get appointed as a licensed sales agent by multiple insurance carriers or released if already appointed. (UHC, CIGNA, OSCAR, BRIGHT, Golden Rule, Surebridge, Optimed, Pivot Health, National General, etc).
- Demonstrates proficiency with Sales systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
