Vape Shop Retail Associate

We are looking for a dependable, hard-working, personable, and trustworthy individual looking for part-time and potentially full-time employment.

****VAPING EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE IS REQUIRED.**** $14 an hour***

Position OverviewObtains or receives merchandise, explains/demonstrates products, totals bills, accepts payment and makes change for customers in retail store by performing the following duties.

Essential Job FunctionsObtain merchandise requested by customer or receive merchandise returned by customer.Answer customer questions concerning location, price and use of merchandise.Accept payment and make change when necessary.Wrap or bag merchandise for customers.Clean shelves, counters, tables, or any areas of retail store.Stock shelves, counters or tables with merchandiseStamp, mark, or tag price on merchandise.Open and close register appropriately when necessary.Lock and secure store as assigned.

RequirementsMust be able to communicate clearly, listen carefully and respond to customer questions.Ability use hands and fingers to handle or feel products/equipment.Ability to reach with hands and arms, to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Ability to move throughout the store maneuvering shelves, display cases, furniture, etcAbility to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.Ability to perform basic math functions in units of American money.Applies product and market knowledge effectively.Handle difficult or emotional customer situations with tact.Respond promptly to customers' needs/wants.Ability to learn and apply new skills and stay on top of changes in productsCourteous, caring and outgoing personality a must.Contributes to a positive team success and puts success of team above own interests.Regularly be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Able to read and interpret written information.Displays passion and enthusiasm for the job; trustworthy individual.Ability to take initiative to complete tasks when there is down time.Must be 21 or older.High School diploma or GED Required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
