We are currently seeking a Python/Perl Developer - (Virtualization Infrastructure Tooling) to join our team in Montreal, Quebec (CA-QC), Canada (CA).

Day to Day / Job Function

The successful candidate will work on the development of our provisioning system and other tooling to support the platform.

This provides APIs and a command-based user interface that allows system administrators, developers and application support personnel to build and manage the configuration of Virtual Machines.I-AS2

Required Qualifications.

5+ years of Strong Python and Perl programming skills, writing secure, testable, robust code.
7+ years of experience of large (10k+ lines) collaboratively developed modular projects.
5+ years of knowledge of SQL and database programming.
Exposure to modern development tools and practices including git, jenkins, agile and continuous integration.
Ability to collaborate with others on development, including code reviews, providing specifications, implementing specifications from others, and writing documentation.
5+ years of Expert knowledge of Linux, including familiarity with UNIX system calls
5+ years of Experienced with backend server development for state based distributed systems which provide highly available API’s.
