Position Overview

The Operations Manager will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our food manufacturing facility, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards. This role focuses on managing production schedules, supply chain logistics, and compliance with FDA and USDA regulations, while also driving continuous improvement initiatives in R&D and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the food manufacturing facility
• Manage production schedules to meet customer demand
• Ensure compliance with FDA and USDA regulations
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams on new product development and improvements
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards
• Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Utilize ERP systems, including NetSuite and Redzone, for operational management
• Lead and train team members to enhance operational effectiveness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in operations management within the food manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (FDA, USDA)
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite and/or Redzone
• Proven track record in managing supply chain and production processes
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
