ABOUT THE ROLE

Pickle is hiring founding Frontend Engineers to ship the web surfaces for a human-like AI clone that runs in real time and persists across voice, video, and memory. You will build with React, TypeScript, Next.js, and modern web media stacks like WebRTC and LiveKit, wiring the browser client to our multimodal models and identity systems. Your work will deliver sub-second interactions in the browser, make the clone feel present on the web, and set a high bar for reliability, safety, and polish.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build beautiful, fast interfaces that make AI feel simple, trustworthy, and fun for everyday people.

• Design conversational and voice-first UI, lightweight agent controls, and visualizations that clearly explain what the AI is doing and why.

• Collaborate with design, client (iOS/macOS), backend, and ML to turn ideas into polished, shippable front-end features.

• Create modular, scalable components backed by a thoughtful design system and accessibility by default.

• Optimize for responsiveness across real-world devices and networks: launch speed, input and animation latency, scroll smoothness, and Core Web Vitals.

• Iterate relentlessly through testing, feedback, and usage data, improving first-session time to wow, retention, and shareability.
