- Salary: The hiring salary range for Senior Business Systems Analyst is $125,520-$134,306. The full pay range for Senior Business Systems Analyst is $96,554-$154,487.

About the Job:
The Information & Technology Services department is looking for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst with a strong focus on implementing, supporting, and advancing enterprise-level construction projects and program management control systems, such as PMWeb and Oracle JDE E1 This role demands a proactive approach to enhancing our project management capabilities, ensuring that capital planning, cost management, and project delivery are executed with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with various departments to design, develop, maintain, and enhance our job costing solutions, contributing directly to the strategic goals of the San Diego International Airport.
What You’ll Do:
- Project Leadership and Support: Act as the primary technology partner for ongoing design and construction projects, ensuring the successful adoption and functionality of PMWeb across the organization
- System Design and Maintenance: Provide design, configuration, and maintenance support for PMWeb and Oracle JDE E1 catering to the needs of capital planning, funding, cost management, and project controls
- Process Automation: Develop and support process automation workflows, data elements, and forms, enhancing operational efficiency and project delivery
- Integration Management: Develop and maintain integrations between PMWeb systems and other key systems such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne using MTG integration tool or Magic XPI cloud solution
- Technical Documentation and Training: Create functional and technical system requirement documents; support end-to-end business process testing of the PMWeb application; and conduct training sessions to enhance user competency and adoption
- Strategic Planning: Formulate project strategies, business cases, and roadmaps, leading cross-functional teams to integrate technological solutions effectively
- Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration: Work with business users, technology partners, and vendors to identify system improvements, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that support business needs

About the Team:
Information & Technology Services (I&TS) is a mission‑driven, campus‑wide team that enables the Airport Authority’s operations through reliable, secure, and forward‑looking technology. I&TS supports critical business applications used by staff, maintains passenger‑facing systems such as flight information displays and paging, and designs, operates, and secures the infrastructure that connects the entire airport campus. Our team is responsible for system access, data storage, cybersecurity, and operational continuity—ensuring technology is available when and where it matters most. We foster a collaborative, service-oriented culture focused on partnership, accountability, and continuous improvement, working closely with departments across the campus to deliver solutions that keep the airport running safely, efficiently, and securely.
The Application Development team designs, builds, and supports the enterprise applications and integrations that power daily operations across the Airport Authority. Partnering closely with business units, the team translates operational needs into scalable, user-focused solutions that support finance, operations, asset management, and customer experience. From custom development to vendor platforms and system integrations, the team ensures applications are reliable, secure, and aligned with evolving business priorities—improving workflows, enabling better decision-making, and enhancing the experience for employees, tenants, and stakeholders campus-wide.
Requirements
The Experience You Need to Have**:
- Five years of business systems application configuration, development and specifications design experience, including end‑to‑end business process testing for PMWeb or similar ERP applications (Procore, Oracle ERP, Workday Financial, Salesforce, Oracle PeopleSoft, SAP ) ; and/or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in computer science, management information systems or a closely related field
Preferred Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements:
- Project Management Institute certifications - PMP, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP
- Agile certifications - CSM, PSM, CAPM, KMP, DASM
- Software development certifications CSDP, MCSD, AWS Certified developer
