Quality Engineer/Quality Inspector

Quality Engineer, Garden Grove CA **$80k/yr - $110k/yr

Quality Inspector $20/hr - $40/hr DOE

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer and Quality Inspector with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the aerospace industry.

**Key Responsibilites **

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality plans, control plans, and inspection criteria for machined aerospace parts .

• Analyze nonconformances, scrap, rework, and process capability to identify trends and drive continuous improvement

• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using structured problem-solving tools (5 Why, Fishbone, DMAIC).

• Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor and analyze aerospace manufacturing processes

• Support and maintain compliance with AS9100 quality management system requirements

• Perform inspection of machined parts with portable CMM to ensure compliance to customer specifications

• Use Verisurf software to inspect parts and analyze dimensional data

• Document quality data per ISO standard

• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years as a quality engineer in a machine shop, Aerospace preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Proficiency using Verisurf (or similar CMM)sofrware platform used for precision measurement, quality inspection, and programming coordinate measuring machines
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications
