This advertisement is for a Electrician II (Correctional Facility) position at Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego County. Please indicate the position number on your application: 030-216-6538-002


Duties: Under the direction of the Supervisor of Building Trades, staff will have the primary responsibility for the maintenance and repair of the institution’s electrical systems on A yard and all areas associated with that yard. Due to institutional need staff may be redirected to maintain or repair other electrical systems throughout the institution.

Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, as well as a Tuberculosis test/evaluation prior to appointment, followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
