Occupational Therapist Job Details

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a clinical or hospital setting
• Preferred: Acute care or hospital rehab experience
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Proficiency with EMR systems (ProTouch experience preferred)
• Any color scrubs permitted

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in a hospital rehab setting
• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to enhance patient mobility, function, and independence
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records using EMR systems
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, and home care instructions
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to discharge planning
