Pay Rate: $18/hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to serve as a vital link between customers and our lab department. In this role, you will support internal operations and provide excellent service to external clients by ensuring timely and accurate communication. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent email and written communication abilities, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly to the technical aspects of our industry. This is a temp-to-hire position, but the conversion to permanent status may take some time based on organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between customers and the lab, ensuring seamless communication and prompt resolution of inquiries or issues.
- Distribute information internally across various departments and externally to customers with precision and clarity.
- Handle data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, while managing records in Salesforce and other systems as required.
- Draft and respond to emails and written documentation with strong attention to detail and professionalism.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project timelines and client deliverables are met.
- Leverage Word and Excel to create and edit reports, track progress, and analyze data.
- Ensure all assigned administrative tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Continuously learn the technical aspects of products or services to provide knowledgeable support to customers and coworkers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Typing proficiency (testing required to demonstrate speed and accuracy).
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (testing will be conducted).
- Excellent written and email communication skills with attention to tone and detail.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus but not required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail .
- Willingness to learn industry-specific technical information to enhance customer support.
- Demonstrates organizational skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities effectively.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a fast learner who thrives in a detail-oriented and fast-paced environment. They possess the ability to quickly adapt to technical requirements and are highly organized, communicative, and collaborative. A background in administrative roles with data entry and CRM software experience is highly preferred.
