Accounting Manager (Simi Valley)

Bonus: 12.5%
Role Summary
Leads the Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP) functions for a business unit/site. Responsible for accurate financial reporting, compliance (GAAP), process improvement, and team management .
Key Responsibilities
- Manage AR & AP operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Oversee accounting transactions, reporting, and financial analysis
- Maintain internal controls, systems, and procedures
- Lead month-end/year-end closings, forecasts, and budgeting support
- Analyze financial data, identify issues, and implement improvements
- Supervise, train, and develop accounting staff
- Ensure alignment with corporate accounting policies and objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years AR/AP experience ( mandatory )
- 3+ years in manufacturing ( mandatory )
- Experience in aerospace industry ( preferred/required as per note )
- People management experience
Skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and analysis
- Experience in manufacturing accounting processes
- Leadership and team development skills
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication and MS Office proficiency
