Restaurant Floor Manager
Margaritaville Capitola is looking for a full-time floor manager. We are a first-class casual restaurant located right on the water in Capitola Village. We take pride in operating a professional establishment, dedicated to providing high quality service and food in a beautiful environment. If you are interested in playing a key role in an evolving high-volume restaurant, this could be the job for you!
:
· 40+ hours per week, including weekends and holidays
· Orchestrate staff to ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly service
· Be physically present and aware of the restaurant, guests, and employees. Model professional behavior for guests and staff.
· Strong ability to uphold standards of service as outlined by the company
· Focused on county and state operating guidelines in relation to health and safety protocols
· Work closely with other management to uphold the integrity of the restaurant. Remain flexible and communicative regarding the shift and overall operations
· Coach and encourage staff in their positions, and in areas of improvement
Qualifications:
· Must have 1+ years management experience in a high volume, full service restaurant. Bar management experience is a plus.
· 2+ years serving and/or bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant.
· Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management Program or related field is a plus.
· Extremely organized and detail oriented.
· Highly engaged, and strong ability to multi-task.
· Excellent communication skills with staff, management team, and guests.
· Ability to work and lead in a team environment, while promoting teamwork and positive employee morale.
· Ability to make well informed yet quick decisions for the good of the restaurant.
· Effective communicator. Give/receive feedback as opportunities for growth.
· Highly energetic with a positive and supportive management style.
· Enjoys coaching and teaching, and is able to motivate staff during both busy and slow times
· Complete understanding of all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
· Fluency in POS, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
· Experience with Toast POS Systems
· Food Safety & RBS Certified

Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
