FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Executive Assistant to the General Manager
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Reports To: General Manager

About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organized, digitally savvy Executive Assistant to support the General Manager of two dynamic television stations in Seattle and Los Angeles. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and has the digital fluency to streamline workflows across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level administrative support including calendar management, travel coordination, meeting preparation, and expense reporting.
  • Serve as a point of contact between the GM and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
  • Anticipate needs and proactively manage priorities to keep projects and deadlines on track.
  • Support organizational efficiency by leveraging modern tools (Slack, Google Suite, etc.) to coordinate across markets.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials as needed.
  • Assist with data gathering and analysis; familiarity with tools such as Adobe Analytics is a strong plus.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Coordinate with other leadership team members to ensure smooth operations across both stations.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Slack, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar), and other collaboration tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft professional correspondence and presentations.
  • Digital fluency with a willingness to learn and adapt to new platforms.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics or similar digital analytics tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with the broadcast or media industry a plus, but not required.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment.
