Job Description and Duties

Under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Building Trades, the Maintenance Mechanic performs a wide variety of duties consisting of miscellaneous maintenance, alteration, and repair of buildings, facilities, and mechanical/electrical systems. The position is also responsible for maintaining order, supervising the conduct of incarcerated individuals, and protecting the safety of persons or property.

Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).
