- You'll teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills in a 1:1 setting to kiddos with autism at MeBe’s Learning Center.
- You’ll follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs that help increase the kiddo's communication, self-help, social and play skills.
- You’ll relay info on your kiddos’ progress to BCBAs to keep them informed and assist with BCBA assessments.
- At the end of each session, you’ll accurately record the kiddo’s behavior analysis and progress in our data collection system Central Reach using your work assigned tablet.
- You’ll be responsible for clocking in, submitting your session notes and clocking out to align with strict ABA and Insurance provider regulations.
- You’ll help keep our workplace shipshape, safe, and super organized.
- You’ll help our kiddos with lunch breaks, bathroom breaks and diaper changing.
- You’ll help with projects and tasks as directed by your Site Director and Clinical Supervisors.
- You’ll voice questions, issues and concerns to your supervisors as appropriate and take co-ownership of treatment planning.
- You’ll help to build positive relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.
- You’ll positively contribute to the MeBe Family culture.
- Consistent availability from Monday through Friday. Part-time shifts available.
- Must be at least 18-years-old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- RBT certification preferred. Must obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment (MeBe will help you!)
- TRICARE certification is preferred.
- Prefer a background in child care; teaching, counseling, babysitting.
- Ability to frequently bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), squat, sit, stand, and/or run, (without reasonable accommodations), see with prescription lenses, and hear with hearing aids.
- Previous training in First Aid Certified and CPR is preferred
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to work with computers.
- Must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients
- Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent- required. A bachelor’s degree in areas like Pediatrics or Human Development (Biology) is preferred.
- Industry benchmarked, competitive pay based on experience and location.
- Pay: $22-$27/ hour, depending on experience
- Paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
