- Track and report monthly revenues and costs related to utilities and services
- Prepare and deliver concise reports comparing current results to benchmarks
- Support month-end close by preparing journal entries in accordance with GAAP
- Collaborate with operational teams to gather data for accurate journal entries
- Conduct monthly variance analysis to support accurate financial closing
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
- Coordinate responses for external audits and tax-related requests
- Complete and review monthly general ledger account reconciliations
- Maintain and update billing rate information based on utility rate structures
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and general support across the Finance team
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash availability
- Recommend solutions to resolve financial and operational issues using sound judgment
- Uphold organizational values such as performance, communication, leadership, quality, knowledge, and teamwork
- Complete additional projects or tasks as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting roles
- CPA or active CPA candidate required; public accounting experience preferred
- Proficiency with ERP and EPM systems preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Industry experience in real estate, utilities, or technology is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- High attention to detail, strong financial analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
