LICENSING PROGRAM ANALYST
Under the supervision of the Licensing Program Manager I in the Fresno Child Care Office, the Child Care Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) is responsible for a full range of licensing duties which may include: develop and implement orientations, training programs; review applications; recommend license approval/denial; perform on-site facility evaluations; investigate complaints in licensed and unlicensed facilities; recommend and prepare administrative actions to deny, revoke, and suspend facility licenses.
Subject to fingerprinting and criminal record clearance by DOJ/FBI. This position requires lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, climbing stairs, sitting for extended periods and using a computer and keyboard. Must be able to travel.
This is a 12-month limited term position and may be extended to a maximum of 24-months and/or may become permanent based on operational needs.

Working Conditions
**This is a 12-month Limited Term position with the potential to become permanent.**
This is an office-centered position; however, occasional telework may be permitted.
Use of a computer for several hours a day which involves sitting most of the time but may include walking or standing for brief periods. Attend meetings, workshops and training associated with job duties. Work hours and schedules may vary.
This position is eligible for hybrid work in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order N-22-25 and at the sole discretion of the Department of Social Services under California Government Code Section 14200. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be re-evaluated at any time. The incumbent will be expected to report for in office work and attend work related in-person events as deemed operationally necessary. Telework does not change the terms and conditions of employment, the essential functions of job duties, or required compliance with the CDSS policies. Headquarter location may be designated on the selected candidate's primary residence location, and/or the closest CDSS location in accordance with operational need and available space.
