About the Position
Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on building connections and providing top-tier customer service? Meissner Sewing & Vacuum Centers is looking for enthusiastic Sales Associates—both full-time and part-time—to join our energetic teams in Sacramento, Folsom, and Roseville. This is your chance to work in a fun, supportive environment while helping customers find products that bring their creative visions to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Excellence – Engage with customers, offer tailored product recommendations, and consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.

  • Customer Experience – Greet customers warmly, answer product and service questions, and ensure a welcoming, knowledgeable environment.

  • Product Knowledge – While familiarity with sewing, quilting, or embroidery is a plus, we value a passion for sales and the desire to learn.

  • Transaction Processing – Accurately process sales, handle cash and credit transactions, issue refunds, and maintain customer records in-store and online.

  • Visual Merchandising – Assist in setting up visually appealing product displays to enhance the customer experience.

  • Safety Awareness – Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive environment for both customers and staff.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years of retail sales experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Enthusiastic about delivering outstanding customer service

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting

  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

  • Able to lift merchandise up to 35 lbs

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly wage + commission (Excellent earning potential due to a wide range of product price points)

Preferred Experience

  • Sales and customer service background required
