Job Title: Sr. Emulation Engineer - CPU
Job Location: REMOTE - we have presences in the Bay Area and Austin, TX
Compensation: $150K - $260K base Depending on experience plus equity!
Requirements: Emulation, Cadence Palladium, Mentor Veloce, Protium, HAPS, CPU, C++

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Remote Senior Emulation Engineer specializing in CPU architectures to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emulation technologies and will play a critical role in the design, development, and validation of advanced CPU designs across multiple architectures including RISC-V, x86, and ARMv8.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain emulation models for CPU architectures using tools like Palladium and Protium.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to validate CPU designs and functionalities.
• Optimize emulation performance and accuracy for various CPU architectures.
• Participate in debugging and troubleshooting of emulation-related issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in emulation engineering, specifically with CPU designs.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and SystemVerilog programming languages.
• Experience with emulation platforms such as Mentor Veloce, HAPS, Palladium, and Protium.
• Deep understanding of CPU architectures, including RISC-V, x86, and ARMv8.
