Administrative Analyst
Job Description and Duties

Under direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II is responsible for independently performing consulting and analytical duties in support of the Enforcement Unit staff, Department of Conservation Legal Office and other stakeholders. The Analyst II assists with all phases of enforcement cases. The Analyst II researches, coordinates, analyzes, and identifies notable issues when reviewing, compiling, and processing documents related to enforcement. The Analyst II interacts with personnel on various issues, summarizes research, documents, and cites materials reviewed, prepares recommendations, and completes data entry.

Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If it is determined an applicant does not meet Minimum Qualifications, the applicant will be withheld from the eligibility list, rendering them inactive and ineligible to be hired for the position. Applicants who have been withheld may file an appeal with the State Personnel Board.

Working Conditions
This position is located in Sacramento and is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule, with employees required to work in-person at 715 P Street, MS 1803, Sacramento, CA 95814. At least three days of remote work and up to two days of in-office work per week is the available hybrid telework schedule for this position. Alternative work locations will not be considered.
Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview but must show proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for appointment.
