Staff Accountant POST NUMBER: 484857
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist with account reconciliations
- Process cash transactions and bank transfers
- Support accounts payable functions and vendor payment processing
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Support financial reporting and analysis as needed
- Work closely with senior accounting staff and management on special projects
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience or newly graduated with an Accounting degree
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP/accounting systems preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
