In this role, you will be responsible for performing advanced technical tasks related to the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of photovoltaic (PV) solar systems. As a Senior PV Solar Field Technician, you will utilize your extensive knowledge and expertise to ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of **Desert Sunlight near Desert Center, California.** Responsibilities: + Conduct advanced inspections, testing, and maintenance of PV solar systems, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols. + Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair activities to identify and resolve issues with solar panels, inverters, mounting systems, electrical components, and other related equipment. + Develop and execute detailed maintenance and repair plans for PV solar projects, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum energy production. + Conduct thorough site assessments, including shading analysis, solar resource assessment, and system design parameters, to optimize system performance. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and field technicians, to ensure effective planning, execution, and completion of solar projects. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior field technicians, assisting in their professional development and enhancing overall team performance. + Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to PV solar systems and renewable energy, and effectively apply them to improve operational efficiency. + Maintain accurate documentation and records of all maintenance, repairs, inspections, and other activities performed on PV solar systems. + Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and your team. **Job Overview** The Site Technician will support the Regional Manager or designee to ensure the perfect execution of the PGD processes.
