Your impact

At Jacobs , we’re redefining digital delivery with advanced visualization, simulation, and AI-integrated platforms. As part of the Digital Twin Product Team , you’ll lead the front-end development effort for immersive, data-driven experiences that connect geospatial, asset, and environmental data within Omniverse-based systems.

You’ll collaborate across disciplines—engineers, 3D artists, AI developers, and system architects—to deliver high-performance web and real-time interfaces for clients across environmental, defense, and infrastructure domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead front-end architecture and development for Omniverse-integrated applications.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate Figma designs into responsive, performant web interfaces.
• Develop and maintain scalable React/Next.js and WebRTC applications supporting 3D visualization and real-time interaction.
• Coordinate with backend and connector teams to integrate APIs, data pipelines, and microservices.
• Define front-end technical standards, code quality practices, and documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct peer reviews.
• Participate in agile sprint planning and cross-functional collaboration with design, backend, and AI teams.
• Support DevOps/Cloud integration for deployment pipelines (AWS/Azure/Kubernetes).

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5 - 8 years of front-end development experience; 2+ years in a technical lead role.
• Strong proficiency with React, Next.js, TypeScript, WebRTC, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with real-time rendering, 3D visualization, or Omniverse-based applications.
• Proficiency with Figma, component libraries, and design systems.
• Understanding of API integration, RESTful/GraphQL, and web performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and Git-based CI/CD workflows.

Preferred :

• Exposure to NVIDIA Omniverse.
• Experience with Python, C#, or C++ for backend or plugin interoperability.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of digital twin principles, environmental modeling, or data visualization.
• Prior experience in consulting or cross-functional engineering environment.

160,000.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

180,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $160,000.00 to $180,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
