Sr Administrative Assistant Sales

Service | Quality | Knowledge
The Sr. Administrative Assistant Sales will assist the Sales Department and the VP of Pacific Coast Seed with a wide range of day-to-day support activities. This person must be able to professionally handle a continually changing work climate with finesse and tact.
Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Department for day to day needs (Bid tracking, follow-up, customer service)
- Process orders for the Sales Department as needed
- Accounts Payable for Western Division (Pacific Coast Seed) working in tandem with corporate accounting.
- Inventory activities
1. Transfers – Process Inventory Transfers and Adjustments in the system
2. Receiving – Receive Inventory Products in the system
3. Testing – Maintain and Update Seed Testing Analysis
4. Annual Inventory Count Support
- Backup for answering phones and route the call to the appropriate party
- Maintain electronic filling and documentation system
- Greet customers with a smile and friendly demeanor
- Function as a resource to managers, employees, and other staff when appropriate
Working Conditions:
While this is an office position, please note that you will be required to work near an environment containing dust and other plant related debris. People with asthma or known allergens to grasses, pollen, etc. should not apply.

Requirements
- Strong math skills
- Previous experience with Accounts Payable and/or Inventory
- Previous experience in Agriculture business would be desired, but not necessary
- Ability to foresee and preempt problems
- Strong attention to detail and highly accurate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments at one time
- Active listening skills paired with critical thinking skills
- Ability to self-start and work independently while also contributing as an effective team member
- Ability to diplomatically interact with all personnel within and out of our organization
- Ability to respond to quick turn-around requests
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
