Okta/IAM Architect

Onsite in Culver City, CA (4 days on-site required)

The organization operates global entertainment businesses across motion pictures, television, home entertainment, digital content, studio facilities, and new products and technologies, distributing content in more than 140 countries.

Rate: $50.00 to $60.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Okta architecture, including workflow enhancements, custom connectors, and integration frameworks.
• Develop role-based policies, enforce Segregation of Duties, and design scalable IAM solutions.
• Lead upgrades, patching, optimization, and security hardening initiatives.
• Oversee Single Sign-On and provisioning integrations for complex applications.
• Build and maintain custom workflows, connectors, and integrations for IGA systems.
• Manage advanced authentication mechanisms.
• Drive access certification campaigns and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Perform IGA workflow monitoring, troubleshooting, and connector customization.
• Address Okta vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Provide expert support for lifecycle management, onboarding identities, and access workflows.
• Lead incident and problem management, including root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Automate repetitive tasks and optimize operational processes.
• Lead the team, resolve escalations, drive initiatives, and ensure system reliability.
• Act as liaison with security, application, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
• Resolve complex vendor issues and coordinate architecture enhancements.

Experience Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in identity and access management with deep Okta expertise.
• Extensive experience with Okta Identity Cloud, IGA, PAM, and advanced IAM concepts.
• Hands-on support for Okta Access Gateway configuration and troubleshooting across authentication, integrations, and on-prem application access.
• Ability to analyze logs, network traces, and system behavior to identify root causes.
• Proven track record in architecture design, custom development, and security compliance.
• Strong knowledge of workflow automation, policy enforcement, and risk management.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
• Ability to lead strategic initiatives, mentor teams, and manage cross-functional collaboration.
