Maintenance Technician – Healthcare Facilities

We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and reliable environment in a healthcare setting.

What You'll Do
Maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical building systems.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, boilers, heat exchangers, air compressors, piping systems, generators, and backup power equipment.
Monitor critical building systems and respond quickly to operational issues.
Complete work orders, maintain maintenance logs, and communicate equipment status with the engineering team.
Assist with general building maintenance including painting, carpentry, and minor repairs while following infection control procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA and safety regulations.
What We're Looking For
Healthcare facility maintenance experience is preferred, but candidates from hospitality, commercial buildings, manufacturing, or plant operations are encouraged to apply.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical, HVAC/refrigeration, or emergency backup power systems.
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical controls, HVAC equipment, pumps, valves, piping, and mechanical systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills with a team-first attitude.
Comfortable using computers and maintenance management systems.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Trade school education or college coursework in a related field preferred.
Knowledge of OSHA standards and local building codes.
Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Physical Requirements
Frequently walk stairs and perform facility inspections.
Climb ladders up to 40 feet.
Lift up to 60 pounds on a regular basis.
Work in mechanical spaces and confined areas as needed, including kneeling and crouching for equipment inspections.
