Title: Transportation Coordinator/Driver
Job Duties: The Transportation Coordinator will serve multiple duties regarding the therapeutic care and transportation needs of the people we serve. The driver provides facility staff with driving services such as persons served to doctors' appointments and recreational activities, running errands, and picking up and transporting admission/ discharge persons served. This position requires the ability and desire to work with a diverse group of individuals respectfully and professionally. You will also be responsible for assisting in the provision of the therapeutic milieu by monitoring and communicating with persons served and assisting in crisis intervention.
Schedule: Full-Time
Qualifications :
- A high school diploma/GED.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Good driving ability and clean driving record.
- Ability to work well with other staff and adult persons served.
- Self-directed but also able to take directions and carry out tasks.
- Ability to create and carry out schedule for vehicle use.
- One year experience as a driver for a long-term care facility, hospital or community-based program preferred.
- A valid California driver's license.

About the Campus: Community reintegration and dual recovery are vital tenets at Fallbrook Healing Center. Community reintegration is designed for those clients who need help developing some of the basic life skills that will assist them when returning to their communities. We accomplish this through classes, therapy, community service, and peer mentorship. Many clients participate in our Dreamcatchers Empowerment Network pre-employment training. This training enables clients to become Dreamcatcher employees and helps provide them with meaningful roles and services to the community.
