Global Impact Job Details Job Details: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mid to Senior Product Engineer to join our innovative and fast-paced manufacturing team. This role will be instrumental in driving the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our product range. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), manuals, and performance curves. Responsibilities: As a Mid to Senior Product Engineer, your responsibilities will include: 1. Developing and maintaining comprehensive manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings and BOMs for our product range.
2. Conducting design activities, calculations, and test curves for various pump models and configurations.
3. Spearheading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, cost efficiency, and manufacturing processes.
4. Resolving technical issues by diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
5. Collaborating with the product development team to design innovative products that meet industry trends and customer needs.
6. Ensuring all engineering activities comply with industry standards and company policies.
7. Creating and updating product manuals and performance curves to provide clear and accurate product information.
8. Actively participating in product design reviews and providing constructive feedback to improve product quality and performance.
9. Staying current with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing processes and product design.
10. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and manufacturing processes. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this role should have: 1. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in product engineering within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in developing and maintaining manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, product development, and product design.
5. Proficiency in using CAD software for product design and engineering calculations.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
7. Strong familiarity with engineering standards within the manufacturing industry.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
9. A proactive approach to staying updated with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing processes and product design.
