Project Manager
The Center for Elders’ Independence is a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the elderly) organization (PO) that uses an interdisciplinary team approach for care planning and implementing purposeful high quality, affordable, and integrated health care services to the elderly. Our elderly meet PACE requirements as prescribed by CMS and are referred to as participants. Our PO includes Adult Day Health Centers and primary care clinics, promoting participant autonomy, quality of life and the ability for individuals to live in their communities
THE POSITION:
The Project Manager will oversee and deliver projects by applying industry-standard methodologies and frameworks (PRINCE2). The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring projects produce the required deliverables to the required standard of quality within the specified constraints of time and cost. The Project Manager is also responsible for the projects producing resultscapable of achieving the benefits as defined in the Business Cases.A strong understanding of IT is required.
The role-holder, whilst sitting within the IMT structure will be responsible for projects across the organization not limited to those of a technology-only nature.
The rate range for the IT Project Manager position at Center for Elders Independence is $111,510.00 to $167,266.00 per year. Pay rate based on the market for the Project Manager position, as well as experience, skills, abilities and work history.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
~Define and maintain the projects’ business justification, objectives, deliverables and tolerances through the Project Initiation Document(PID)
~Establish Project boards and Project Teams ensuring that all members of both groups are aware of their roles and responsibilities
~Prepare (and deliver to the Project Board), summary project reports, end stage reports and project closure reports
~Develop Project, Stage and, if necessary, Exception Plans in conjunction with Project Team Managers/Workstream Leads.
~Formally, and effectively, manage Risks, Issues and Changes
~Coordinate cross-functional teams across Operational, Finance, HR, Clinical and IT departments
~Establish clear communication channels with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations accordingly.
~Promote quality through effective quality management strategies
~Ensure Projects align with PACE-specific regulatory requirements, including amongst others, CMS and HIPAA
~Building, leading and motivating the Project Team throughout the project.
~Ensure that all project artefacts are complete and available as required
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
~Bachelors degree in healthcare management, business administration, project management or a related field.
~Professional certification of a recognized Project Management framework
~Minimum 5 years of Project management with at least 2 years in healthcare or PACE-related setting
~Proven track-record in delivering complex projects using a recognized project management framework
~Experience in managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
~Familiarity with PACE regulations, CMS guidelines and healthcare systems
~Expertise in project management tools (eg. MS Project, Jira or similar)
~Analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and results
~Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management
~Adaptable and Proactive, with the ability to manage complex and changing priorities
