Your Work Location
You'll find your place at Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM), a primary division of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace, which leads in producing fasteners, fittings, and engineered solutions for the aerospace and defense industries. CAM boasts nine subsidiaries within the United States, structured into three distinct segments.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
• Perform planned maintenance on essential machinery to ensure smooth operation—tweak motors, conveyors, control systems, and production machines.
• Utilize your advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues by observing and analyzing systems.
• Set up, program, and optimize CNC control systems and HMIs with precision.
• Repair high-voltage (480V, 220V, 120V) and low-voltage circuits alongside hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Document maintenance work, equipment details, and repair histories accurately.
• Partner with engineering and production teams to enhance equipment functionality.
• Mentor and train the junior maintenance personnel to elevate their skill sets.
• Keep a tidy inventory of replacement parts and tools ready for immediate use.
• Uphold stringent safety protocols, engaging fully in training sessions.
• Execute tasks by following detailed written guidelines and drawings.
Qualifications You Bring:
• 5+ years in maintenance mechanics, especially with CNC machines.
• Proficient in CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code) and systems like Fanuc and Siemens.
• Skilled in fixing electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Able to interpret technical diagrams, guides, and complex specifications.
• Familiar with PLC tools and electric system analytics.
• Superb problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent mechanical dexterity and teamwork strength.
• Commitment to maintaining safety and driving improvements forward.
Additional Skills Preferred:
• Certifications in CNC maintenance or programming.
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance methodologies.
• Acquainted with Industry 4.0 and data-centric maintenance.
• Experienced in documenting maintenance procedures.
• Welding skills (TIG, MIG) are beneficial.
Education Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for industrial experience.
