Prime Videos Live Infrastructure team is looking for a passionate results-oriented hard-working and operationally focused Systems Admin Engineer to support the fast evolving and expanding video eco-system especially for live events and 24/7 linear channels. Key job responsibilities
As a Live Infra Systems Engineer you will build and scale our current infrastructure as well as designing and delivering new tools supporting our video business. You will also have responsibility of the day to day Engineering and Administration of large scale distributed systems. You will guide the organization and implement best practices to deliver on operational improvements as well as design and architect solutions that scale. Additionally you will own a global hardware stack.

- 4 years of site reliability engineering (SRE) systems engineering systems administration DevOps security administration or network administration experience
- 5 years of Linux experience
- 5 years of systems engineering experience
- Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering Computer Science or related field or relevant work experience
- Experience in site reliability engineering (SRE) systems engineering systems administration DevOps security administration or network administration
- Experience working with Linux
- Experience in systems engineering
- Experience in any of the following: Python Java Perl PHP Ruby Bash Shell or equivalent

- Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols such as and DNS
- Experience designing and developing scripts to automate operational burdens and reviewing scripting changes to ensure they meet the standards for maintainability scalability and security
- Experience working in 24/7 production environment
- Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $94000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
