Job Description
The Account Manager will oversee key Marsden accounts in the Sacramento, CA market, delivering a high level of customer care and ensuring that each facility maintains exceptional cleanliness and appearance. This role will also be responsible for leading and supporting the onsite team to achieve operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages portfolio of key Marsden accounts to ensure customer satisfaction/retention, identify opportunities for growth, and act as the primary point of contact.
- Directs staff at customer facilities to ensure that customer expectations and agreed upon KPIs are met.
- Ensure tag work at the accounts is completed at the highest level, on or under budget and on time. (Tag work may include but is not limited to carpet care, resilient floor care, interior/exterior window cleaning, pressure washing, TI/construction clean-up, tile/grout/stone restoration, or handyman services).
- Spearheads the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes. Partner with internal stakeholders to identify business opportunities and solutions.
- Ensures standards for service quality, equipment, and performance are maintained and that cost-effective resources are used to maximize service standards..
- Develops, monitors, and reports on operating costs within functional areas. Alerts management of cost and labor over run. Makes recommendations and implements solutions to problems related to same.
- Perform regular quality control building inspections to maintain a high level of quality and to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manages budget and controls expenses effectively.
- Keeps up-to-date on information and technology affecting functional area(s) to increase innovation and ensure compliance.

Education and Experience Required
- 3+ years of facility service, janitorial or similar service-based related experience
- Proven experience in building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Experience in a mobile leadership role with responsibility for multiple customers
- Bachelors degree in business administration or related field; and/or equivalent experience highly preferred

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects and tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb, stoop, kneel or crouch; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
