Summary Job title: Warehouse Associate - Entry Level Job ID: 202591260002 Department: Visalia - CED Location: CA-Visalia Description Summary: Consolidated Electrical Distributors is looking to hire an ambitious and hardworking individual to join our team at our Visalia, Ca profit center. Our warehouse associates work from 7 AM - 4 PM Monday through Friday, with lunch from 12 PM - 1 PM. This role is essential in warehousing and delivering material to the customers we serve in the Tulare County marketplace each day. While the job is physically demanding with a lot of time on your feet each day, the job is rewarded with top-end hourly pay and a Profit Sharing program that encourages every team member to care about the work they do each day. Reports to: PC Manager Minimum Qualifications: + High School Diploma or GED + Ability to lift 75+ pounds occasionally - usually with assistance of tools and equipment + Ability to lift 25 - 30 pounds frequently - usually with assistance of tools and equipment + Ability to be on your feet walking 15,000+ steps per day ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES: + High attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Experience operating forklifts Working Conditions: + Occasional - Work outdoors in existing weather conditions + Heavy physical activity + Occasional deliveries to our customers Supervisory Responsibilities: No Essential Job Functions: + Picking orders using hand-held mobile device + Loading delivery trucks + Operating various type of forklifts (on-the-job training available) + Putting away inventory using hand-held mobile device + Packaging shipments safely + Banding of material together safely + Receiving material from freight carrier + Shipping material via freight carriers + Cutting Wire + Occasional deliveries to our customers CED is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability | Veteran Compensation Range: The compensation range for this position is $18 to $20 hourly.
