The OpportunityÂ

The Calendar Clerk in our Pre-Litigation department is responsible for ensuring deadlines are met for a high volume of Personal Injury cases. Â

Accountable for
Â

• Calendaring hearings in Milana.
• Providing hearing information to attorneys.
• Reviewing and sorting mail.
• Audit Excel spreadsheets regarding case status.
• Maintain the department’s calendar system, calculating and entering deadlines for State and Federal courts.Â
• Track important legal and filing deadlines for high-volume caseload.Â
• Docket hearings, discovery, and all information as it relates to court findings.Â
• Schedule depositions, mediations, court appearances, and similar tasks.Â
• Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to our Los Angeles office.  

Qualifications
Â

• Minimum 2 years of experience calendaring in Personal Injury preferred.Â
• Knowledge of local court rules, procedures, and timelines for filing deadlines.Â
• Detail oriented with the ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.Â
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.Â
• Type at least 40 WPM.Â
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.Â

Compensation
Â

• $23 - $30 per hour, depending on experience
