Project Planner
Snowline Engineering is a state-of-the-art precision machining facility located in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada just 20 minutes outside of Sacramento. Our company's objective is to provide our customers with diversity in precision machining, precision sheet metal, light to medium fabrication, and turnkey assemblies. We have been in business since 1966 and have a very diverse customer base including customers from the Aerospace, Robotics, Medical and Train industries. Location: Cameron Park, CA
Status: Full Time
Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, flexible as needed Our Compensation and Benefits show how much we value our team!
- $35.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience

- Review contracts, drawings, engineering data packages, and specifications
- Create project estimates and initiate job releases from those estimates
- Calculate material requirements using ERP software, and coordinate with purchasing to source materials and outside services from approved vendors
- Monitor job progress and maintain accurate status reporting
- Serve as liaison between production floor and engineering to address technical challenges
- Keep program management informed of delivery schedules and proactively address any concerns
- Own full project lifecycle accountability from planning through shipment
- Other duties as assigned by management
- High school diploma/GED
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years in production planning, project coordination, or manufacturing engineering
- Solid understanding of machining/fabrication operations and associated processes
- Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat
- Comfortable working with ERP/MRP systems (JobBOSS2/E2 experience valued)
- 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks) preferred
- Effective communicator with strong attention to detail
