Role/Responsibilities
The Application Support Staff is responsible for monitoring business applications and websites to ensure system availability, performance, and data accuracy. This role involves application monitoring, SQL data verification, log analysis, and supporting issue investigation using cloud platforms and monitoring tools.
Qualifications & Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor APIs and internal applications to ensure availability and proper functioning.
- Perform application and infrastructure monitoring across cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Monitor system performance, alerts, and application health using Datadog.
- Review and analyze application and system logs using Splunk to detect errors, failures, or performance issues.
- Perform SQL data verification and validation to ensure database accuracy and integrity.
- Investigate and troubleshoot data discrepancies, application errors, and system alerts.
- Support production issue resolution by coordinating with development, DevOps, and business.
- Document incidents, root causes, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Generate reports and extract data using SQL queries when required.
- Follow operational procedures and escalate issues when necessary to maintain service availability.
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, data validation)
- Experience with application and API monitoring
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS and Microsoft Azure
- Experience using Datadog for application and infrastructure monitoring
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot logs using Splunk
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good documentation and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting production applications in cloud environments
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and alerting systems
- Experience with ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, etc.)
- Basic understanding of web services, APIs, and application architecture

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: $ 61,000
Pay Range Maximum: $ 155,000

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
