What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Maintain and administer multiple company stock plans, including grant processing, exercises/releases, terminations, and comprehensive reporting.
  • Audit and update the employee stock database while facilitating information exchange with external brokers (E*TRADE).
  • Collaborate on the design, communication, and continuous improvement of equity plans and related educational programs.
  • Assist in administering the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), handling enrollments, contribution changes, semi-annual purchases, and disposition reporting.
  • Respond promptly to participant inquiries regarding equity programs, delivering excellent service to employees at all levels.
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly and quarterly equity-related reports, supporting accounting and audit functions.
  • Partner with Accounting, Tax, Payroll, HR, Legal, transfer agents, auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless equity administration.
  • Support year-end processes such as payroll audits, tax rate updates, and Section 6039 compliance.
  • Ensure international stock plan compliance, staying current with legislative changes and global best practices.
  • Act as a liaison for SOX compliance and audits, identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and contribute to special projects as they arise.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in equity administration, with international exposure preferred.
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in managing high-volume stock plans within a public company environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel; experience with Equity Edge Online and EEO Workflow is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEC regulations, global equity compliance, and global taxation.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

The team partners closely with Finance, HR, Legal, and external vendors to deliver outstanding service to employees worldwide, ensuring that equity compensation remains a key differentiator for Synopsys’ continued growth and success.

Salary, Rewards, and Benefits:

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $117,000 - $140,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. Synopsys offers comprehensive health, wellness, and financial benefits as part of a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on various job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
