The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Production Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Ensuring a safe working environment through modeling safe behaviors, leading audits/inspections, correcting unsafe behaviors, conducting safety meetings, and utilizing proper work methods, procedures and equipment
• Provide direct supervision to hourly production employees on 3rd shift
• Handling shift administrative activities such as time/absence reporting, attendance control, vacation planning, overtime, etc.
• Planning daily work schedules, prioritizing, allocating work assignments, and regulating production processes to meet specific daily production requirements
• Provide leadership for assigned operations by fostering cross-functional teamwork and communicating goals of the organization to employees

Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Possess a bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment in a private, public, government or military environment
• Minimum of four (4) years' experience in a Manufacturing environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Previous Supervisory experience a plus
• MS Office proficiency (IMES a plus for internals)
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Ability to work with a Team that provides 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift support
• Previous Supervisory experience a plus

The expected compensation range for this position is $103,233 - $126,174, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
