We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our esteemed legal firm. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a remarkable opportunity to handle a diverse range of family law cases. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team that values professional growth, client service, and community involvement. You will play a key role in our firm, providing expert legal advice, and representing clients in legal proceedings. 1. Provide expert legal counsel to clients on various family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, domestic violence, alimony, adoption, and guardianship.
2. Represent clients in court, presenting evidence to support the client’s case, cross-examining witnesses, and arguing motions.
3. Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, appeals, and agreements.
4. Conduct legal research to support case preparation and stay updated on recent developments in family law.
5. Negotiate settlements in a manner that is in the best interest of the client.
6. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with clients, court personnel, and other attorneys.
7. Participate in business development efforts to attract new clients and build strong relationships with existing ones. Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Associate Attorney with a focus on family law.
4. Proven experience representing clients in family law cases.
5. Strong knowledge of family law and court procedures.
6. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
8. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships.
11. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
