Software Engineer Intern, Robotics
Location : This position is based in our Campbell, California offices, on-site & full-time. Imperative Care does not provide relocation or additional housing compensation for the summer internship. Why Imperative Care?
At Imperative Care we are developing novel robotic-assisted technologies and interventional capabilities that will forever change the disparate outcomes of ischemic stroke – a disease that impacts close to a million people a year in the U.S., and 10 million worldwide. We are actively building a team who is focused on developing novel solutions for this complex disease – a disease in which one in four adults will face in their lifetime. What You’ll Do
The individual will assist software engineers in the development of a playback tool for analysis of case telemetry.
- Implement visualizations of robotic motion within a workspace using telemetry, configurations, and kinematics
- Process and display robot sensor and state machine information
- Develop the software infrastructure to efficiently generate analysis metrics of the case progression
- Experience with Python and C++
- Strong understanding of linear algebra
- Knowledge in kinematics, ROS, visualization tools, or software architecture is a plus
- Strong organizational skills: management of priorities, documentation, and timing
- Good interpersonal skills, effective communication, and partnership with other departments

Salary: $29/hourly for 10 week internship
