RDI is at a really exciting point in its growth. We work with some of the largest diagnostics companies in the world, running complex IVD clinical trials that need to move fast and still hold up to regulatory scrutiny. About the Role

This role is about owning the scientific heartbeat of RDI. As Head of Science, you set the tone for how studies are designed, how assays are validated, and how scientific decisions are made. You are the person people turn to when the question is “what is the right way to do this.”

You will work closely with Operations, the Medical Director, and the leadership team to make sure our science is rigorous, consistent, and practical. This is not an academic role. It is hands on, collaborative, and deeply connected to real projects with real clients.

What You Will Do

• Guide scientific strategy across all IVD clinical trials
• Shape study design and validation approaches
• Support client conversations with clear, confident scientific insight
• Partner with Operations to balance rigor with execution
• Contribute to FDA facing scientific documentation
• Create consistency and clarity across studies and programs
• Mentor and support scientists as the team grows

Requirements

Who You Are

• You have designed or led IVD validation studies
• You are comfortable making decisions and standing behind them
• You can explain complex science clearly and calmly
• You enjoy working closely with operators, not in isolation
• You care deeply about doing science the right way and doing it well
