Overview

Leading global healthcare company looking for an entry level Manufacturing Technician I. Ideal candidates should have at least a High school diploma and 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals or biologics processing within a GMP setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform fundamental tasks within a GMP environment to support manufacturing operations, including cleaning and maintaining the workplace to meet bioburden control standards.
• Set up and operate equipment in a biologics processing environment for plasma-derived pharmaceuticals.
• Conduct detailed cleaning of equipment and facilities to MSP/cGMP standards.
• Complete technical training profiles as required and adhere strictly to department safety rules.
• Monitor processing parameters such as pH, weights, separation, and assay results during bulk processing and filtration.
• Perform real-time documentation during production runs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain neat and accurate records/logs in accordance with standard procedures.
• Work well with others in a team environment, demonstrating proactive, results-oriented behavior with strong attention to detail.

• High school diploma or GED required; Associates Degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals/biologics processing within a GMP environment.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Basic math skills with proficiency in the metric system.
• Accurate documentation skills and basic computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use a 10-key calculator.
• Ability to lift/push 50 lbs and work in a clean room manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work in cold environments, including bending or standing for prolonged periods.
• Availability to work any shift, including weekends.
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and use good judgment.
