Contracts & Commercial Operations Specialist (Base CA) (Corona)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and business-minded professional to support the company’s contract management and commercial operations. This role will focus on managing the full lifecycle of commercial agreements while providing support on lease matters, dispute coordination, and legal operations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, practical, and capable of working cross-functionally to ensure contracts align with business needs while maintaining appropriate risk control.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Contract Management
  • Draft, review, and manage a variety of commercial agreements, including:
  • Sales agreements
  • Vendor and supplier contracts
  • Logistics and transportation agreements
  • Service agreements
  • Maintain contract templates and support standardization efforts
  • Track contract lifecycle (drafting, negotiation support, execution, renewal, and termination)
  • Ensure contract terms align with business objectives and internal risk guidelines

  1. Lease & Dispute Support
  • Support commercial lease matters, including document review, coordination, and issue tracking
  • Assist in contract-related disputes by:
  • Organizing documentation
  • Supporting evidence collection
  • Coordinating with external counsel under supervision
  • Monitor key deadlines and ensure timely follow-up

  1. Legal Ops / Business Support
  • Maintain and organize contract records and documentation across the company and its subsidiaries
  • Coordinate with external parties (e.g., legal counsel, vendors, landlords) to follow up on execution and issue resolution
  • Partner with sales, supply chain, operations, and finance teams to ensure contract terms reflect actual business needs
  • Support contract-related workflows in manufacturing and warehouse operations
  • Provide practical, business-oriented input to improve contract processes, efficiency, and cost control

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above (Business, Law, or related field preferred)
  • 1–3 years of experience in contract management, legal support, or commercial operations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial contracts, lease agreements, or dispute coordination
  • Familiarity with supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or warehouse operations
  • Experience working in an in-house legal or business environment

Key Skills

  • Business-oriented mindset with the ability to balance risk and practicality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple tasks
  • Basic understanding of contract structures and negotiation support

Additional Information

  • Locations: California & New York (one position each)
  • Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 annually
  • Language: Bilingual in Chinese and English preferred
