East Bay law office is seeking an experienced litigation Paralegal to fill immediate vacancy.
Our office represents primarily real estate owners and property managers in diverse real-estate related matters, focused on unlawful detainer cases in all local counties. We also have a busy insurance defense practice representing insured property owners and property managers.
We need someone who has relevant litigation experience and excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills. Must be proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook and case management software like Clio. Ideal candidate will understand and take responsibility for court e-filing, proper service of process, and compliance with local court rules. This is a full-time position, working for 2-3 busy attorneys. Your work will typically involve initial drafts of pleadings, discovery and gathering of client responses, document identification and preparation for trial. Applicant needs to be very attentive to small details and be flexible enough to multi-task and prioritize with an ever-changing workload.
We require a good work ethic and the ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor with colleagues and clients at all times.
Exact hours of work can be negotiated. Salary depends on experience and qualifications. Benefits include paid vacation, medical, vision and dental coverage.
